John Stonestreet serves as president of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. He’s a sought-after author and speaker on areas of faith and culture, theology, worldview, education and apologetics. John is the daily voice of BreakPoint, the nationally syndicated commentary on the culture founded by the late Chuck Colson. He is also the voice of the Point, a daily one-minute feature on worldview, apologetics and cultural issues. Before coming to the Colson Center in 2010, John served in various leadership capacities with Summit Ministries and was on the biblical studies faculty at Bryan College (TN). John has co-authored four books: A Practical Guide to Culture, Restoring All Things, Same-Sex Marriage, and Making Sense of Your World: A Biblical Worldview.

Matthew Sleeth, MD, a former emergency room physician and chief of the hospital medical staff, resigned from his position to teach, preach, and write about faith and health. Dr. Sleeth has spoken at more than one thousand churches, campuses, and events, including serving as a monthly guest preacher at the Washington National Cathedral. Recognized by Newsweek as one of the nation’s most influential Christian leaders, Dr. Sleeth is the executive director of Blessed Earth and author of numerous articles and books, including Reforesting Faith and 24/6.

His most recent book, Hope Always: How to be a force for life in a culture of suicide released in May 2021. Dr. Sleeth lives in Lexington, Kentucky, with Nancy, his wife of forty years. Their grown children serve with their families in full-time ministry and as medical missionaries in Africa.

Joseph Backholm is Senior Fellow for Biblical Worldview and Strategic Engagement at Family Research Council. He combines extensive legal, political, and policy experience with a love for the way biblical truth cultivates human flourishing. He served as a legislative attorney for three years and spent 10 years as the President and General Counsel of the Family Policy Institute of Washington in Washington State where he managed educational, legislative, and electoral operations on behalf of life, marriage, religious freedom, and parental rights. He led three ballot initiatives on marriage and gender privacy.

Pete Marra is recognized as a highly strategic executive who now serves as Chief Operating Officer at The Colson Center. He has worked as a consultant for Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies, helping shape them into thriving, cutting edge organizations that are well prepared for the world’s uncertainties. He has founded several companies and works extensively in the startup and incubation space. Pete offers guidance and inspiration in the areas of technological innovation, leadership development, and organizational risk assessment and mitigation. He has a global education background focused on training and developing teachers in over 15 countries and has served as a head of school.
